About Us

CGS is an education centre designed specifically for students taking the CAP 2 and FAE exams of Chartered Accountants Ireland. It is led by Liam Doran FCCA, MBS (Finance) and Dave O’Donoghue FCCA, MSc (Accounting) Dip IFR.

Between them Liam and Dave have over 40 years lecturing experience to ACCA, ICAI, CIMA and CPA students. . We have updated all of our revision materials for the 2019/2020 courses to ensure that in an open book exam environment, you the student, can rest assured that you have the highest chances of success!

Assessment 2019/2020 – FAE Core AAFRP (Advanced Application of Financial Reporting Principles)

  • Interim Assessment
  • Open Book
  • 7th December 2019
  • 130 minutes (including reading time)
  • 11 questions combining technical financial reporting, analysis and judgement.
    • Section 1: Five compulsory journal completion questions.
    • Section 2: Three compulsory “Cloze style” disclosure questions.
    • Section 3: Three compulsory journal completion questions.
